Representative Cases

Here are some of the outcomes our lawyers have achieved for our clients:

  • Obtained ruling by the Commercial Division in favor of our client, dismissing all claims against them, in an action arising from a $58 million fraudulent scheme allegedly perpetrated by a third party.
  • Obtained ruling by the First Department in favor of our client, a construction company, holding that the defendant and its counsel entered an illegal witness fee arrangement with a critical third party witness.
  • Obtained ruling by the First Department in favor of our client, a real estate developer, rejecting the seller’s excuses for failing to close on a multi million dollar real estate deal and requiring the seller to release the escrowed contract deposit to the buyer.
  • Obtained ruling by the Commercial Division in favor of our client, holding that defendants’ law firm (among the ten largest in the United States) was disqualified due to a conflict of interest. The ruling was based on its representation of both the corporation on whose behalf our client asserted a derivative claim and the majority shareholder of the corporation.
